If you don’t like where you live, don’t complain about it or wish you lived somewhere better – move! You’re not a tree.
If you want to live somewhere else, take action now! Develop a plan, work that plan and relocate to where you DO want to be.
If you don’t like your sales figures, don’t complain about them or wish they were better – improve! You are not a software program stuck in a loop. If you want better sales figures, take action now! Develop an effective marketing plan, work that plan and enjoy the sales results you DO want.
If you want something better – do something better.
Don’t just complain and stay the same. That kind of thinking can drive you nuts!

Jim!
I’m glad I’m not the only one ranting on about this. I’ve been saying for years now that the most precious human resource is action.
I’m off the opinion that we are educated beyond our level of obedience. IOW, we know far more than we do – just like you are saying.
Bloggers like you are a Godsend, because you don’t just give ‘content’, you give ‘clarity’ and rouse action. Thank you!
Scott,
Thanks for the feedback and for taking action, to share them here!!
I totally agree with you on this subject.
It seems that those who complain the most are the ones taking less action. Funny how that correlation works, because you would think the ones taking action have more to complain about…but once you begin to put plans into action, there is less to complain about.
Good little note…
I love this Jim – if you want to solve your problems or just improve and graduate to the next level in life or business, you must take action to get results – and there is no better time than the present. I mentioned your post in a blog post I did recently… thanks for the inspiration

Hello Mark,
Thanks for the comment my friend. I read your blog and saw you had mentioned my post. Thanks!!
Smiling–a new faculty member moved to new a area and constantly talked about how much she loved life where she had come from—finally, one day when I heard as enough I said “Then why don’t you move back there?” Never heard another world from her on the subject.
This time it was action on my part that made the difference.
