What an incredible story you must have Jim. I hope to hear it sometime face to face with a large glass of vino in hand.

A good friend recently reminded me that (difficult situation or person here) is not the source of your (my) pain. That is simply my teacher. So, my job is to find out what life lesson this is. “Without pain, there is no wisdom.”

This post is a great reminder of all the things I am so grateful for and thanks for introducing me to Jim Rohn.

I had the pleasure of doing video sessions and subscribed to his ezine. One of the many nuggets that remain with me is never to begrudge the money I invest on my own education.
I changed jobs, did not sign up and when I went in today am deeply saddened at loss of this legend.

…….He sat the ten of us down round a table in his suite, and thanked us for coming.

Then, he said “this is my first time in Glasgow, what do poor people read in this city?”

I thought he was joking at first, but he wasn’t – and soon, we were reeling off the names of trashy tabloid newspapers and magazines – AND HE WAS WRITING THEM DOWN! I had no idea what was happening.

Then, he looked up, and he seemed to look all of us straight the eye at once, and he said “when I visit a new city, I always find out what poor people there need, SO I CAN NOT READ IT”

Thankyou Mr Rohn for changing the direction of my life. I can confidently say that Jim Rohn has made me a better man today. Ever since i came from from Zambia, Africa 8 years ago, i sort for a way can make the most out of life, I needed help and direction. Mr Rohn’s simple technics and principles of life help me realize my dreams. I am so happy to see how my life has turned out to be. My sermon presentation has greatly changed in the past years and my ability to put in simple terms some of the complex ideas. This new ability has also increased my confidence on the platfom. Am in a process of building my communicate team and thanks to Mrs Rohn.
