Hi Jim. I think the prevelance of activity on twitter/facebook etc of an individual should be dependent on the role they undertake in the business in terms of driving it forward. If social media is a key strategy for business growth and this in turn works into a definite campaign where the business sends out X tweets/posts promoting their products, blogs etc then I think it's ok for them to be seen to be busy. Included in this should be conversational engagement also so show a bit more personality! However, 100% inane drivel being pushed out is pointless and it will turn off prospects. Just my thoughts :)

Hi Jim. Agree 125% - this works a treat! Did it myself a couple of years ago - the wish was "Get out of corporate employment and do something on my own". Wrote it on piece of notepaper, which in turn inspired the contemplation of a plan which became a reality! The simple ways of doing things are often the best!

There is a fine difference between being active every day, which I am now, versus being active every hour of every day, which I used to be.

I think people often have a tendency, to make things more complicated than they really need to be.

Thanks for the feedback, Cat.

I find it amazing Ari, when I see people who are very active each day across; Twitter, Linkedin, Facebook and more.

Not sure that sends a good message to prospective clients / customers either.

Thanks for the comment!

Great point about doing more than dreaming. To this end, I've cut down on my tweeting, for instance, to a minimal frequency per day to focus my time on creating than learning.
