By learning how to take appropriate action, we can swap regret and frustration for progress. That’s what this brief post is all about.
From abstract to reality
The product we never launched, the service we never developed, the partnership we never formed, the meeting we never requested – these are all common examples of things we look back on with regret.
In business, there are countless opportunities around us. In order to benefit from them, we need to do something with them. We need to move. We need to take action. We need to take the abstract idea and make it real.
Movement
Resolve today, to take action on one of the ideas you have or an opportunity you have identified. Do the same tomorrow. Rinse, repeat. Do this often enough and you will not only find you have fewer regrets, you will also learn more and make more progress than you ever thought possible.
Life is a journey. We can either passively go around in circles and complain that life sucks or we can take action and guide our journey to where we want to be.
