A powerful 3 step process to get you massively more referrals

Here’s a quick and effective 3 step process, to help you attract massively more word of mouth referrals. This process works equally well regardless of your industry. There’s also an example, so you can see exactly how it works.

Let’s go!

  1. Think back to the last time you were so impressed with a product or service, that you wanted to tell people all about it.
  2. Next, write the experience down in as much detail as you can. Focus specifically on the elements of your experience, which impressed you the most.
  3. Finally, look for ways you can adapt that experience into your own business.

Here’s an example of how I’ve used this process in my own business.

Grandfathering your most loyal clients

When I bought my first smartphone, my provider offered me a grandfather clause. In other words, they would freeze my monthly bill for as long as I remained a customer on the same call plan. It really impressed me. I told my friends and many of them switched providers.

I then incorporated the same grandfather clause idea into my 1 Year Marketing Service. When a new client joins me, their fee is frozen. No fee increases, regardless of how many years we work together.

It rewards my most loyal clients and they tell their friends.

A powerful, flexible way to attract referrals

As you can see from that example, you can take inspiration from industries or professions, which are very different to your own. The key is to find something you can offer, which will motivate your clients or customers to shout about you from the rooftops.

Yes, it can take a while to find the right referral idea for your business. However, it’s worth it. Get it right and it will give your customers or clients an experience, which they will want to tell people about. And you will attract massively more word of mouth referrals than ever before.
